my two brilliant friends, alexis brayton and amber dipietra, have published the latest installment of their zine: the blink, issue 2: photos. it's beautiful and handmade and the design (creating two halves connected in the middle with only a table of contents to identify the work) separates each photo from its accompanying text - which forces everything to stand on its own merit (which everything does) and which makes reading it a series of flippings-over and page-turns allowing all the photos and all the text to bleed into one another. in that way, the official authorship of each piece becomes secondary to the fact that you're engrossed in all these images and all these words and it's simply amazing.
