objectivity is just the implicit agreement by a majority that their subjective beliefs are correct. and when there is a majority of one, as in the case of every individual, objectivity and subjectivity become synonyms, and all other words lose meaning. a dictionary of life that is constantly moving the definitions around, but it's impossible to know because there is no longer a single point of reference - rather an infinite set of points each equally weighted.
and to follow this line of thinking, everything unravels. no start or end, just a vast nothingness. and to use words in attempt to corral the uncertainties merely proves the inherent futility of it all. yet the first lie, the universal lie of absolute meaning, is automatically assumed. it must be otherwise i would not even know that the keys my fingers push to make these symbols when put next to each other ascribe something other than gibberish that i can then question the validity of.
which brings me around to that if i had to initially force-feed myself one lie to construct even the smallest amount of meaning, it's been that much easier for the second, and the third, the fourth, and on and on. and everything quickly devolves again.
if it were just me in a small room, while cyclical, it might be manageable. but to contend against the rise and fall of others, their self-made lies and subjectivities thrust out as absolutes, not knowing where they are simply because they themselves don't know because they can't know, that's a way of living that must eventually admit its falsehood and slowly, slowly succumb.
